ERA Connect for Aker Solutions Subsea
Aker Solutions Subsea has installed Epsis TeamBox and ERA Connect at Ågotnes to assist them implementing their new Service Execution Model
Aker Solutions Subsea Lifecycle Services (SLS) is a very successful subsea vendor both on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and Internationally. During 2010 and 2011 SLS has been implementing a new Service Execution Model (SEM) to secure the best possible service to their clients. As part of this implementation Epsis AS has worked closely with SLS to tie the sources of information closer to the work process using ERA Connect. As a result, several of their daily and weekly recurring meetings are possible to run in a structured, predefined and efficient way. Participants can join the meeting from anywhere and always be sure that everyone sees the latest versions of information in real time. In addition, SLS has equipped 2 of their meeting rooms with Epsis TeamBox in order for the project organizations to have the same capabilities both in the meeting rooms and their personal offices. In the fall 2011, Epsis started on a new project at SLS. The objective is to implement SEM in a uniform way across the projects on the organizational level. The main focus will be to help SLS achieve success with the new way of working.
