You have a lot of contributors.
Get the best out of everyone.

In all competitive industries, we see a rapid increase in specialization and narrowing areas of expertise. The more experts we get within our businesses, and the more widespread they are, the more we need to communicate and understand each other to make things work. Collaboration is the answer to this challenge.

A problem that is restricting the effective utilization of traditional collaboration rooms is that the videoconferencing system, the control systems for the displays and any sharing technologies are not operating seamlessly. In addition, the equipment is complex and difficult to use, and maintenance is a fulltime job.

In Epsis, we believe in simplicity. We want you to spend more time on your work tasks and less on technical barriers. The Epsis TeamBox is a powerful Windows workstation that allows you to manage your entire screen real estate, create and execute meetings or workflows, conduct videoconferencing and share information with anyone you want – all from one single unit.

With Epsis TeamBox, your focus can be on making decisions, not on operating technology.

That’s the beauty of collaboration – done right.

Epsis TeamBox™

Collaboration in a box

The Epsis TeamBox is a Windows workstation specially configured to facilitate your meetings and collaborative work processes. With a few mouse clicks on the intuitive menu, all the information you need is automatically retrieved and displayed on the screen, exactly the way you want it.

The Epsis TeamBox will also manage your videoconferencing system and any additional laptops and make sure they appear on the screen together with all the other information.

Since the Epsis TeamBox has a network connection it also acts as the primary source of information giving you access to documents and applications available on the network. This reduces the number of sources needed, but of course any additional sources such as a videoconferencing system or PC and laptops can still be connected to and controlled by the Epsis TeamBox.

Sometimes videoconferencing
is simply not enough

In collaboration rooms, the videoconferencing system plays an important role. It allows us to see and have discussions with persons at other sites; share documents or presentations; and help us travel less. In a way, videoconferencing has become synonymous with collaboration.

Unfortunately, this often leads to lack of flexibility in the utilization of the facility. While video-
conferencing may be satisfactory for conducting meetings with remote participants, the system is not designed to manage the screen layout and content. Thus, discussion points that could use a multitude of information sources for a decision are cut short.

With Epsis TeamBox we take a different approach. We ask what sources of information are needed in a collaborative session. We then ensure that those sources can be shown on your display system with the best possible layout.

By the click of a button you can step through your agenda and conduct your session. You can share and collaborate on each of the sources with everyone in your meeting, regardless of whether they are in the same room or in a remote location. The Epsis TeamBox works with your preferred videoconferencing system while maximizing the use of your other hardware investments at the same time.

Epsis TeamBox™

A simpler system with fewer boxes,
managed by a Windows user interface

In most of today's collaboration rooms a number of sources - such as PCs connected to the network or laptops brought along to a meeting - are plugged into a control system which outputs to a display system. The control system may again consist of a number of components such as a matrix switch, display controller, control box and touch panel.

Do you see the analogy to the switchboard operator on the left?

With the Epsis TeamBox, the traditional control system is replaced by a single Windows workstation. All interaction takes place from an easy to use software application and a mouse and keyboard. Since the Epsis TeamBox has a network connection it also acts as the primary source of information giving you access to documents and applications available on the network.

This reduces the number of sources needed, but of course any additional sources such as a videoconferencing system or PCs and laptops can still be connected to and controlled by the Epsis TeamBox.
